RE: Need suggestion for a good book or any other documentation
Hi, A quick web search will yield many site dedicated to digital audio workstations (daw) and computer recording. That would be a good start since it's free. I frequent many of these sites often. Justin

RE: How do i make acapellas in time with beat?
Hi Geldinho, An easy fix is to import your acapella sound into Music Maker and cancel the remix editor. Then double click the acapella wav sample in the arranger window and up pops all your tools including EQ, compressor and the ability to change a

RE: loop recording newbie
I feel your pain! It's tough to try to follow standard music creation on a loop or sample based system. I wish they would introduce a chord creation system where the samples would tune to your chords, then you can enter the chord progression. I've

RE: can u still compltet a song witout the magix media cd/dvd bcause i dont have it?
Most likely it's looking for a previously loaded sample or the window is defaulting to the sample collection. Change your browse screen to a local source and then only use samples you have access to on your computer. That will prevent it searching

RE: how do i smooth my recordings
Sounds like you're recording with a computer sound card... this will never work good. I tried this with a SoundBlaster Audigy when my recording interface was down. It's terrible, that same sound you're talking about! Get a decent recording interface

RE: Can I sell the songs that I make with Music Maker?
BabaSikander is absolutely correct. I will note that if you do not have a "deluxe" or "pro" edition then they ask that your credit them by putting the Magix logo (available on their site) on the products you sell.May I suggest that you include this

RE: Décalage Midi - MIDI delay
Unfortunately ASIO will not improve MIDI latency... ASIO has nothing to do wiht MIDI. Ralftaro is right in that it will improve audio latency; just not MIDI. The FA-66 is a firewire interface so I doubt you're having any trouble with audio latency

RE: How do i get my keyboard to work?
If you are trying to connect via midi make sure you set that up first. You can test by playing a midi (.mid or .rmi) and you should here it through your keyboard. If it's USB midi it will be easy to connect. If it's standard midi din cable; remember

RE: What do you use for sound isolation?
You have a good solution there already. My suggestion is similar.Hang wood rods for the blankets (or sleeping bags in my case) in the shape of the desired area you want to isolate. I use a 90 deg. shape in the corner of my studio. Now hang a second

RE: How to remove vocals from audio music file
BabaSikander was partly right... first look for a product that supports it. If you already own a product then read on. Unfortunately you can not remove vocals with an eq; once vocals are in the mix the eq will only change the frequencies. It's

RE: Why can't I play fast notes on my keyboard via ASIO?
Hi Malisan,First I must assume you are NOT using MIDI as ASIO does not relate to MIDI at all.Second, depending on your recording interface/sound card there will be a latency setting. You will want to change the latency and/or buffer settings in your

RE: no more sounds! help!!!!
Another great source is eBay... I've purchased many sample collections there. The links that Ralftaro gave are ones I use myself as well... good advice.Another great tip is to find old versions of Music Maker; they can be found very inexpensively on
