RE: Can not trim or delete portions of audio
@Eric-Elliott Hi Eric. All video and most audio editors use what is called 'non linear editing'. Meaning what you see on the timeline is a representation of the file. A note like in a notepad. When you add any file to a project you are saying to

RE: Slideshow-Reducing photo length merges Audio track
@Can-Dive Hi, Further to your image/quote, the PhotoStory manual states: During playback all objects on all tracks are mixed together automatically. When moving a photo, all related objects will be moved along with it, for example, audio recordings,

RE: [Closed] Website Observation
Where was I? Oh yeah, @Gid I'm pretty sure tracks/objects used to be able to be grouped & using SPR would affect both in unison? Yes. That changed in VPX13, I believe, when Magix overhauled Size/Position, combining it with Rotation to get SPR,

RE: Removing a color effect
@Helen-Martin Hi, I presume that you mean that you added a color effect to an object, not to the project. Which is it? A few ways for an object in addition to what Ray just showed (he beat me out). With the Color Effect screen showing and the

RE: Slideshow-Reducing photo length merges Audio track
@AAProds Hi Al, What you're describing is a breakdown of the fundamental grouping principles of the program. Those specific rules should only apply to the scenarios where they are needed such as collages, which I have never used. As I said earlier,

RE: 3 and 4 Point Editing
@Can-Dive Hi, Before I forget, in a similar context, @Gid asked if there was a function to overwrite or exchange an object on the timeline. As you have seen, 3 and 4 point editing does this for videos. However, if you just have a photo on the

RE: Object FX on VST instrument loops
@Wirralguy Hi, So would the follow on process for this be to cut down the mixdown track into loop sized objects, string them together and perform object effects where required? Without seeing what you are doing, I would say so. Then, if you want to

RE: How do I redo an audio track in Movie Studio 2024 Platinum?
@Eric-Elliott Hi, You have tracks to work with. I showed you what to do in the video. If you have something in the way where you want to record, move it to another track or record on another track. You can record on any track and move the object

Hi all, Interesting discussion and I may have to change my workflow in some cases, in particular in cases like those of @Pete-Lowland. I, too, have to treat 8mm, S8 sound, VHS and other old files that can contain more than one subject or theme. My

RE: How To Add Audio To Photostory Deluxe 2021 Slideshow
@Robert-Madison Hi, To answer this question: When I click on the musical notes icon in the program itself, I get an ad for "free music" but there doesn't seem to be any way of accessing my own music. As indicated in the manual, this is where any

RE: Fade in/Fade out effects disappeared? (Movie Edit Pro 2019 Premium)
So usually when objects are on a timeline there are bubbles that let you fade in and fade out. I was editing a project last night, and all the bubbles were there. I saved it and left it open on my computer overnight. I must've turned off an option?

RE: VPX Converting a Movie (MVD) to a Project (MVP)
@Can-Dive Hi, Yes. There is a disconnect between Properties and Rename in the PTF. Why, I have no idea. There are other problems and quirks, mostly minor. 1. Make a copy of your clip on the timeline. Change its properties name and add in a comment.

@tpolakov A way: set up your fade in and out on one object (I find the Object Trimmer good), then RC Video Effects>Copy. Then paste them onto the other objects. You can select all the other objects and paste in one hit if you wish. I'm not aware
