  Magix cannot sell Acid to another company. It's owned by the developers of Vegas and they want to keep Vegas and it's developer team. Development of Acid is up to the Vegas team. If they don't want to do it, there will be no new version.

  @Reyfox Sound Forge and Acid were developed by the same team that made Vegas. They all have the same code base. I see this as a hindrance to sell them both to another company because it's bound to the Vegas team.

  I check for updates every day. Vegas 22 works fine so I would think soundforge 18 would work. Vegas is the software that is most updated. Sound Forge 18 has not received an update. If Magix has no interest in Sound Forge, then Magix should sell it.
