@ProductionSavard I think what you need is a sampler VST to play pad sounds yourself instead of using loops. Magix currently sells its old sampler Independence at Producerplanet.com for a reduced price. You can either get only the sampler

Vita Sampler notes from VST Pads not recording

All I get when I press record on a vita sampler track is empty noise even though Im hitting the pads. I am using the on screen pads. I was assuming thats how it worked.

About live pads

The live pads we get with music maker with different samples in different slots is there any restriction in using them for making music and to use that music commercially because i already have my 2023 premium version , kindly clear my doubts

Serato Sample 2 won't accept MIDI in ACID

Serato's new Sample 2 plugin won't accept MIDI notes from the piano roll or MIDI controllers. It makes sound if I hit the pads in the plugin's interface. Hope this gets fixed since ACID's stems got removed.

@ron-senyor You need to play the instrument with a MIDI keyboard or MIDI Pad Controller or the internal on-screen-MIDI keyboard. Clicking on the GUI is only for previewing sounds.

@ron-senyor Hi Assuming you mean the Live Pads, they have to be loaded with Soundpool loops, or use a preset, as shown below, they do not work with VST instruments. To record the playing of the pads click the indicated record button, not the record

Then musicmaker is of no use as ai song tool and live pads are just for showing and of no use even music maker dosent have found midi importing option which are generally provided in free music too , it dosent have midi routing too One more thing I

@JCI-21 The installed location of Magix VSTis is C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common. Within that location you will find folders such as Live Pads and Mx Synth. I don't think the actual installers for these are saved anywhere on your computer.
