RE: RGB vs YUV
@me_again Hi Andy Probably, however the phrase ' internal processing' is a bit vague and could be interpreted in several ways, eg is this just for preview display, or, worst case scenario, trans-coding to RGB, then back to YUV when

RE: How to fix or smooth de-interlaced content?
@jak.willis Aah, OK I've got that. One more confusion if I may. It would appear that they have finally and recently fixed this issue This I take to mean tht UKTV (or as it is now U&Drama) are now transmitting Interlaced video. The confusion now

RE: How to burn files to BD with menus but without having to re-encode?
@johnebaker @AAProds @Bol Would adding sharpness to the video help to make the quality look better? The other night I did a quick test clip of one of the videos in MEP, and added some sharpness. When I played it back on my TV, it looked a lot better

RE: DVDs cut don't play
@rickduley Hi Rick . . . . Blu-Ray. I thought it had gone the way of VHS . . . . Not yet, it is still quite popular, however there are fewer BD Burner and disc manufacturers. DVD's are nearly on the extinction list, the low resolution of 720 x 576

RE: Capture show a couple of seconds then blue screen
@Baldrick @johnebaker does the tape play OK when the player is connected to a TV and viewed? Digitisers tend to be a bit less sensitive than TVs so they may konk out/go bluescreen, while the TV still shows a picture.

Improving the quality of SD shows
Hello, I have a couple of questions to ask. Firstly, is Video Pro X 16 one of the newest program versions? Secondly, I have downloaded some TV shows that are in 1024x576 resolution. They look a lot better when played on my TV compared to the

RE: [Solved] Playback Magix Studio 2023
It seems to be solved. I bought a new TV, then I took a pure .mts file and with no any settings I exported it to .mp4 format and put it on tv. Playback worked with no problem. Time has passed from my old tv.

@jak.willis This unfortunately isn't going to help with your current problem however ... As you are no doubt aware, U&Drama is transmitted on SDN multiplex and U&Drama+1 is transmitted on ArqA. In my experience ALL channels transmitted on an

@johnebaker John, onto the smart TV with Serviio (wired Ethernet) and onto the dumb TV using a Chromecast Ultra and the KODI app (wifi).

RE: DVD Architect Studio 5.0
@Maju.M But then you are just creating a data disc, not authoring a disc with a startup video with music, menu, chapters, etc. That is the difference. You can do the same thing by putting the MP4 on a USB stick and plugging it into your TV, can you

RE: How to fix or smooth de-interlaced content?
@jak.willis Hi . . . . the interlaced file has an "effective" frame rate of 50 "frames" per second because your eyes are seeing 50 fields per second. . . . . That would apply to the old CRT TV'sb which scanned the field line by line, one field

RE: Blu-ray media created playback issue. Image bounces/jitters
@AAProds Hi Al . . . . . Whoever put in that part probably used the wrong words . . . . Agreed, the formats tables are also confusing/confused over HD, FullHD and UHD. 1920x1080p 25fps is a standard Bluray format when using the MPEG-2 codec option,

RE: DVD Architect Studio 5.0
@Maju.M Vegas produces 4K movies, e.g. with MP4 extension. Such a video can be played on any computer or YouTube. If we convert this movie to ISO format, we can burn it to a BlyRay disc and then play it on TV (e.g. Sony UBP-X500 or better). But

@Aage-- Could be caused by: the digitiser/dongle, the VCR (heads or lack of stabilisation) or a bad tape. Unfortunately, it's a process of elimination here. Before starting, check you have the "Video Stndard" set correctly ie NTSC or PAL (try PAL_B
