  spectral cleaning cleaning lab 14
  I am trying to clean old record conversions and cannot clear some loud clicks bywizard or manual method.I can only remove by physically cutting a section out which is laborious and tricky. Tried to use spectral cleaning but cannot seem to get it to

  Loud Bursts of Static... Why?

  Well first off... louder is not better and any mastering engineer will tell you - you loose quality with volume. The nuances and details of your song is lost. Unfortunately today's trend is to get as loud as possible which requires a compressor.
