RE: Stereo not supported - burning disc
@BrenyC Hi The error message usually means, you are trying to burn a disc with Surround Sound. Dolby AC3 Surround sound is not supported for export or burning discs due to licensing issues. You need to set the burn audio encoding to Stereo . For

RE: MAGIX Video deluxe 2026-encoding failed
@johnebaker it is the second stage, the actual burn, whether to disc or ISO file, that creates the correct folder structure from the prerendered files folder. John, @Alfns point is that the VIDEO_TS folder is not created on the PC as a folder by the

RE: 2026 Manual doesn't agree with program - Split Photostory, etc.
Thanks so much, John, for your excellent help, again! Yes, I meant to type blu-ray, it might have auto “corrected” me, I do know the difference.I’m wondering if burning to the previous DVD-R with the higher speed was causing the problem or maybe it

RE: Blu ray disk chapters blank
@karataka Hello Andrea, I follow your topic with interest. You write: "A burned BD disk only works if I export with mpeg2". A H.264 burned BD disk also does not play in my LG BP250 Blu-Ray / DVD player, but it does if I burned it as Mpeg2. My BP250

RE: DVDs cut don't play
I have modified the signature. It was way out of date. I had forgotten it existed. More better? Thanks for the burner offer @AAProds, but no, Bilbo is a Dell OptiPlex 3070 with just the one place for a disc drive. That is a HL‑DT‑ST DVD+‑RW GU90N

RE: 2026 Manual doesn't agree with program - Split Photostory, etc.
Re your comment above, I have another problem. The Sony DVD-R disk I burned, that I mentioned above, the AVCHD, doesn't play back on my home BlueRay player. I get the main menu screen with the two story lines switchable and it looks great in HD.

RE: Repeated glitch in burned disc
@k9vet I will try to answer your questions later. I dealt with this issue by splitting the original movie in half and burning each half on separate discs. This would seem to strongly suggest your project was too big/long to fit on one disc, I

RE: Repeated glitch in burned disc
@k9vet Thanks for the additional information. Two suggestions to help to diagnose the problem: The Burn process will first create a folder of files on your hard drive. What is the size of the contents of that folder? The actual maximum that an

RE: MAGIX Video deluxe 2026-encoding failed
The burn procedure is completed after about 30 minutes and a vob.file, 0.99 GB, has been created. Can the project's track 1 (the movie) and track 2 (titles), and perhaps the chapter markers, be saved and then imported into a new project?

@johnebaker @ericlnz @AAProds If I use the MainConcept encoder, I am able to change from 1080i to 1080p, and then it says it is planning to smart render all of the files, but when I actually start the process it immediately fails. When

RE: DVDs cut don't play
Hi @johnebaker I am using MAGIX Video Pro X16 20.0.1.270 and AFIK following standard procedure for burning DVD. There is, I think, only a set set of steps to create a DVD with VPX16. Perhaps these give some insight.

Weird issue with using Smart Copy/Smart Render in MEP 2019 Premium
Hi, I have got some H.264 MP4 files that are encoded in 1920x1080 @ 25fps. I have placed these files onto the timeline, using separate projects (new movie) for each file. I have then accessed the burn menu, created a disc menu, and chosen Blu-ray to
