RE: Magix Music Maker 2014 very slow
@Cev You need a modern computer system with at least 8 GB RAM and a mid-class processor like an Intel Core i5 with 2 Ghz cores. Using something like a Pentium or Core i3 could be too slow. Also having less than 8 GB RAM is probably not enough.

Really fast closing "Store" tab, helped a bit for me :) Anyway, reported also to MM support with hope to get some assistance from there. Issue must have something to do with this new MM2022 version, since I my previous version was also MM2022, and

@kate-m Hi Kate. If you need a short length video card then there is a small form factor nvidia 1650 Super by Gigabyte that I'm using. To be honest I could do with a card with even more power but it suffices for most things but is a bit slow when

@Jeff-Reed Jeff, glad to be of help. Analogue video capturing and editing is a bit of black art! Life is oh so simple these days with cameras capturing digital video, just transfer the file and edit away. so I hope that will be enough for video

Great information AAprods, a lot to digest and consider here. I understand your workflow better now, so thank you. I didn't know those USB capture sticks were that cheap. Maybe I should have just gone that route from the beginning, although the mini

@CubeAce Thanks for the reply Ray it's made things a little clearer; I now know what to look out for. Having said that, I've now checked some photo's with YCbCr4:4:4 (1 1) that i've used before for slideshows that worked with MEP 2021 and they've

@me_again Hi Andy. I think the problem is in the colour spacing in the line. Y Cb Cr Sub Sampling            : YCbCr4:4:4 (1 1) Normally a jpeg would read Colour space YUV Chroma Subsampling 4:2:2 I have seen others here with problems with Cr4:4:4

Pretty much says the same thing: "QHD (Quad HD), also sometimes advertised as WQHD due to its widescreen shape, or 1440p, is a display resolution of 2560x1440 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has four times as many pixels as the 720p HDTV video

Hi again Ray - And Thanks Again ... "So you may get away with running an i5 but I personally think you should go for a later model with faster ram" Just to be sure, (and sorry to be repetitious), I'm trying to move away from this i5, not salvage it.

@Joe-Engel Hi, Good questions! Does it make sense to drag 500GB files into a project just to access a few hundred MB for the end result?  Won’t this just slow or choke everything?  I certainly hope that you don't have too many 500GB video clips. The
