RE: H.264 output to bluray is jittery on moving objects
@pmikep Hi Mike . . . . I am having trouble understanding the issue at a conceptual level . . . . It looks like you have issue 2, Pulldown, and possibly a 'dropout' as well. Assuming the download is at 24 fps - or has been converted to 30 or 60 fps

RE: H.264 output to bluray is jittery on moving objects
@johnebaker So, an off topic (but related) question if I might. I sometimes see the "jittery" (jumping) video that you mentioned in motion shots of TV movies streamed over the web that I record via screen capture. I have experimented with capture

[Closed] How many transitions between, for example, individual film frames
Hello I am currently using Movi Edit Pro 2021 in a trial version and there are only about 30 transitions between individual clips. My question, if I buy the full version, will the library of transitions as well as other additions increase? How will

How many transitions between, for example, individual film frames
I am currently testing MAGIX Movi Edit Pro 2021 and in Help I find out that there are over 100 Transitions. There are about 30 in the tested version. Why?

RE: Video Export Help
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. You said Mike's camera can actually be set to 100Mbps as well as 60Mbps at 120fps and 50Mbps at 50p So I was taking the last two settings you quoted to be upper limits. I personally would not want to go below those

@CubeAce @Xenofex2 No Ray, the link to the Film9 website is in the first post, and I think it's always good to consider the views of others before deciding. I wasn't implying that George had to read the 15 pages! 😀 The last couple of pages though

RE: Video Enhancement
Don't be conned by the "AI" term. That said, the examples they give are pretty darn good (I suppose they would be, wouldn't they?). I might have a look at it myself! I already use NeatVideo for noise reduction (I latched onto it because it was

RE: Video Export Help
@mike-agiannidis Hi Mike. Glad to hear you not using digital zoom as that reduces resolution. Shooting at that frame speed is going to mean the camera has less exposure time between frames which will push the ISO settings up and introducing more

SO...basically need to take the fps down. No, was not using digital zoom. Filming soccer games at night under lights with darker end zone areas. Will try again with new film settings.

@ettore-oldani Hi What is the total run time of the movie? If it exceeds approximately 2 hrs then the movie is too long to fit on the disc. Did you get a warning that the movie was too big to fit on the disc - if so what did you do? Has anything

RE: Hopw to record audio to the time line of already edited movie
@1940 Personally I wouldn't try. I would play the track in Windows Film and TV and use the Microsoft voice recorder to sing into. Voice Recorder has the advantage of only using the mic input. Then import that track into MEP. Or if Magix Movie Maker

@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . . what seems to be a new version of Movie and TV player.. . . . relatively smooth for the frame rate and the only thing I could discern was the normal 'micro jumps' you get between frames caused by the relative short exposure

@AAProds Hi Alwyn. My main point is that such file transfer types may become impossible in the future, relying on the copies of the original copies. At least for non professional use. How long will VHS tape content remain viable? Oxides shed,

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
@browj2 Hi John. I don't necessarily believe variable frame rates should be a problem either but each manufacturer seems to adapt the code and change it for their own products and then not share the alterations. How many variations of a codec does

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I agree that we need one or two template projects with video material at UHD and 4K, some photos, titles, music, a couple of transitions and effects, using normal source files, not problematic ones. They could then be tested with
