  Alright, I'll give it a try. But, I've never had to save the window arrangements with any previous version of MEP+. It just automatically did it, when I pressed / ticked the 'multi-monitor arranger.' What could I have pressed that changed it?

  Many, many things wrong
  I have Video Deluxe Plus 2021, but there is no category for that here. I have had to conclude that this is just typical of the way Magix works. Since my VD is currently exporting a large file, I cannot get to Help / About to see what version it is.

  @martin-brennan Hi Martin. You could go to your Magix account and go to the download page and download it from there. In theory this should put back the version you bought originally so be careful. If it was before MEP 2020 you may get that version

  @NHA Thanks for the update. Your "Video Deluxe Plus" is almost certainly actually called "Video Pro X", I would guess version 11, so possibly not the latest. For a detailed comparison of Movie Edit Pro and Video Pro X please see this page. Jeff

  @Erik-Arends Hi Erik. I will try to answer all your questions and comments from your last three posts. Movie Edit Pro is far from simple program. You may have a lot of 'spread resources' but they seem tied up in a lot of background
