RE: Best format for showing on big screen in a movie theatre
Depending on how large the screen is you should try exporting in as High a Resolution of possible. MPEG4 is a good codec and there is some HD export options. If you can find specifics on what the festival wants as a format that will also help

When i export a movie for viewing online i use Vimedo recommended Mpg4. But i want to export and burn a dvd for a film festival entry. The movie will be shown on a large screen in a movie theatre. What is the best format for big screen?
