RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@jak.willis Hi Jak. I thought it was worth mentioning just in case. The problem is that when we used TVs that had CRTs instead of Back Lit LED panels or similar, the actual phosphorous site that was struck on the screen in the vacuum tube to produce

RE: audio bit rate decreased from 384 to 160 kbps
@wmcalister @johnebaker @browj2 @AAProds Hi. If you are using RED book mp3s they are typically 16 bit although some non conforming mp3 files can go as far as 20 bit. AAC files are 24 bit so a much better dynamic range although most of that is

@NickDerrickson Hi Did you not get a USB video converter with Rescue your Video tapes ? The manual available under Help in the program has detailed instructions on how to connect the Player or Camera and capture video. If capturing from a DV camera

@scott-youngren Hi . . . . I could not get it to import from my firewire Sony DSR-20 . . . . Assuming the computer has a Firewire interface if so can it be seen by Movie Studio in the recording input options? If not and the computer is running on

@Former user @Ian-Schwartz Hi Gid. Just to check I went through my own old recordings I made of bands I worked with in the 70s and deliberately re-recorded a track I recorded in a friends cellar of his band at -60db and then put it through the

RE: VHS made into DVD
@Bigangbo Hi. I'm not sure what happened with the audio or why MMS opened so many audio tracks. They were all mono. If there was to be any quality to be gained it would initially be from the original tape played on a better VHS player. As it is, it

RE: proxy rendering was skipped.. - TRIAL MAGIX Movie Studio 2023 Platinum
@Tibor-Floky Maybe my comment was misunderstood. You should go to the program settings and not the movie settings. And adjust the buffer amount of the sampling rate, not the frequency of the sampling rate. Try not to adjust the actual buffer size as

RE: VHS made into DVD
@Bigangbo That's what I thought. Most people if they transferred their tapes early to DVDs probably though they would never had to remaster the tape again. The program picked up that it had more than one sound track because whoever put it to DVD

Capture freeze when using video saver 7.0.1.12
Capture freeze randomly, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 40 minutes when I´m trying to capture videos from analog video player. The video converter gets very warm. My hardware setup is windows 11, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700T @ 1.40GHz,

RE: Question regarding video upscaling
@AAProds Hi Jack. Yes, I did have an old CRT TV but I threw it out years ago because I didn’t think that I’d need it again. Typical. Didn't we all 🤣 The nearest thing you could do in the digital domain is find an old larger SVGA Tube monitor Like

RE: captured video very poor quality while playback on TV is perfect
@Ove5868 Hi . . . . Any idea what i am doing wrong ? . . . . AFAICS you are doing nothing wrong, you do not see the 'wavy edges' on a TV playing 'analog' video because there is up to 5% of the image being cropped from the sides - this was necessary
