RE: Uncompressed video still has a loss of quality?
@AaronC1 Hi @ericlnz has a good point there - if the source video is from a DVD or mini DV camera, then the video has already been highly compressed and exporting as uncompressed AVI will reveal how poor the quality of the source video is. If you

RE: Uncompressed video still has a loss of quality?
@AaronC1 I assume the original 704x576 has come from a DVD? In any event it will have stretched pixels. When exporting to AVI are you using the same 704x576 image size and identical pixel aspect ratio?

@Arturo-Branco Hi The MediaInfo data would suggest the export is from Blender - is this correct? If so, did you export as PNG files and then combine these to make the AVI using Blender or export directly as AVI? Exporting directly as AVI RAW or AVI

RE: Uncompressed video still has a loss of quality?
@AaronC1 Hi . . . . exported as AVI uncompressed . . . . As @CubeAce and @ericlnz have said the video will have to be re-encoded. If you are exporting at a higher resolution eg 1920 x 1080 then the image will have poorer quality ie softer and/or

Uncompressed video still has a loss of quality?
I imported a 704x576 video into Movie Edit Pro and exported as AVI uncompressed. I then compared the uncompressed version with the original, and the uncompressed version still appears to have slightly less quality than the original. When I say less

@Arturo-Branco Welcome to the Magix forums. The .avi file format is actually a container format, within which a wide range of codecs can be used. It would seem, from your error message, that your computer does not have, or Music Maker cannot use, a

With my entire timeline, filled with many clips and edits, I went back and created 4 main AVI files. I then created a brand new project with those AVIs. I then went to create a DVD with an extra soundtrack and the following is the file log error

Uncompressed video file size
Why is it that when you export as AVI uncompressed, the result is a huge file size and data rate? If the video is produced uncompressed then why isn’t it the same file size & data rate as the source file(s)?

Raw AVI export mostly works OK, but other codecs do not
I posted a topic about how AVI exports using various codecs did not work properly. The frame rate was changed; there were duplicate frames added; and the export did not line up with the selected points. As a workaround I have found that raw AVI with

RE: AVI (AVC) not played correctly
Hi Christian My guess is that it has something to do with the Audio Codec ADPCM as this article:- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/xaudio2/adpcm-overview mentions looping...... You may need to transcode the AVI in a video converter
