Hi @Former user I am not sure. what you mean by "marked to be deleted". When you delete a selection, does the waveform remain?- Are you working in the (normal) 'Edit Tool' (Edit> Tool> Edit), and not the 'Event' edit mode ?- Is the file an MP3

Thanks for the help. I had to uninstall 4 other Magix apps using them Microsoft Troubleshooter and then could reinstall Movie Edit Pro and it works fine now. Many thanks Colin

Thanks @Former user. My camera can shoot HEVC 4K 10bit but never bother to shoot with it. @johnebaker so MMS can edit HEVC 4K 10 bit 4:2:0? I've never shot in HEVC because on the hardware demands which could compromise timeline editing performance.

Can't edit the original post so here's the bit I forgot to add. Tha Application Manager states the update version is 3.0.241028 - when I download the "update" it is 5.0.241028. Version 3 does not seem to exist. I have emailed NewBlue Support. AndyW
