RE: HEVC-Codec
@JanML Hi . . . . . I still think they (MAGIX) should included all required to fully run the program "out of the box" even though a trial. . . . . There problem here is that you are wanting to test the trial version with h.265 (HEVC) encoded video

RE: Performance problems and Access Violation in VDL.EXE
Yes, that's my point. I shoot in the codec that will give me the best overall video with the least amount of compression so I can edit without proxies, if possible. But... if I need to, I'll use proxies. It's one reason why I do not shoot HEVC

RE: Video on Youtube distorted - please help
@sven-m8681 Hi Pleased to hear the video is now OK. . . . . I still don't fully understand why the resolution made the difference, is it just because YT is forced to use the VP9 codec then? . . . . That is correct. John EB

RE: How to get a proper video codec to MMM?
@Cloudglow Hi . . . . .mp4/.mkv files . . . . These are container file formats not video formats. A container file can contain video/audio encoded in many formats and combinations. Video encoded as h.264/AVC and the audio as AAC is the most

RE: Which Magix video programs will import MKV files directly?
@johnebaker MKV is a container file format and contain video and audio that is encoded using many different encoding formats. It is these encoded video/audio formats that cause the issue - if supported by Movie Studio, or require Quicktime

RE: POOR MPG4 QUALITY
@hawaiiboy65 If you give Youtube at least 1440P ie 2560x1440 (16:9) or 1920x1440 (4:3), then you'll invoke the YT VP9 video codec, which is better than H264. And make sure you choose "Best" in the Advanced export settings. Why Magix thought it

@Can-Dive There is a big difference between a program built by enthusiasts that donate their time over a company trying to pay it's workers / shareholders etc. Often such offerings lag behind what is commercially available with Openshot being a case
