RE: Sound Forge Pro 11 Magix Build - Release Notes?

RE: [Release] Samplitude Pro X4 – A complete studio in a single DAW
Due to the single DAW, I installed the software on my laptop with the Mac OS. But due to the iTunes Error 590624 in it, the software was not working properly. Fixing it solved the issue and now it is working well.

RE: .m4a audio files not playing
Hi Jeff, Thanks for the reply. I know that some of the .m4a files are sent as voice recordings from android devices, so I'm not sure if iTunes only is the issue. I am wondering what the sample rate and bit depth expectations are for PhotoStory. Will

RE: .m4a audio files not playing
@Daniel-Rule Welcome to the Magix forums. Two things to consider: m4a files use an Apple codec and certain ones may be designed to only play via iTunes. Also, check that the sample rate and bit depth are both set to what PhotoStory expects. Jeff

RE: Create waveform
Hi . . . . Yes,I hear the audio when I play the timeline. They are MP3 format. . . . . That rules out DRM in iTunes. MP3 files do not automatically create the waveform, despite the option to do so being set in the programs settings - WAV and OGG

RE: itunes mp3 in acid pro 8
Dear adam-f, FTech is right. iTunes uses .m4a as audio file format. Unfortunately the development of Quicktime 7 has stopped in 2016, hence there will be no support for this file format in Acid Pro 8. Best regards, /Tobi

RE: itunes mp3 in acid pro 8
Itunes music file format is Mpeg-4 Audio with the extension .M4A. Acid Pro 8 can't open this unfortunately as it's missing the "QuickTime 7" file filter.
