  @Richard-Docherty If you want the sound of your keyboard you need to record audio, not MIDI. Otherwise you'll always need to manually set up the keyboard again each time you load your project.

  @paul-williams2158 It looks like the M1 has standard audio jack and MIDI inputs/outputs so you can use a modern USB audio/MIDI interface to send audio and MIDI from this keyboard to a modern computer. I think that should work.
