RE: Restore Samplitude as default software
Thank you. The VIP now opens in Samplitude. Why do HMP files still show in Music Maker and does it matter?

RE: Converting .VIP (AS 2004) to newer version or other product
Hey there, You wouldn't have to do any conversion per se. It's essentially still the same format as before. The "Audio Studio" component that was included as part of the MAGIX "Music Studio" product line up until version 11 was a cut-down, consumer

Converting .VIP (AS 2004) to newer version or other product
I have many .VIP projects made with MAGIX Music Studio Audio Studio 2004 deluxe. As I want to migrate to Windows 10, I have to use a newer version of Music Studio or another product. How ca I convert the PROJECTS (.VIP, not the audio files)?

RE: software
Hi, Which version of Samplitude Music Studio? What do you mean by "wiped off?" Do you mean that the VIP files was deleted or that your hard disk was wiped clean? If you mean that you recorded audio, not MIDI, then there should be audio files still

RE: No Compatability for Midi keyboards
Beatsdude, If you are using a cheap AKAI midi keyboard, you may be able to get access to an earlier version of AKAI VIP software . The VIP can be loaded as a 32bit VST and then you have the functionality assuming your version of Music Maker supports

RE: Upgrading from MM2019 to Samplitude Music Studio2019
@Former user Hi Trevor, You can open .mmm files in Samplitude which will save as .vip files. The inverse cannot be done. Yes, any instruments that you don't have will cause a problem. I haven't tested this, but I think that Samplitude just replaces

RE: Transfering project file from one PC to another PC (Laptop)
Hi Styxx, Do not open the VIP from the USB flash drive. Copy the project and files to the Project location on the second computer, usually something like: C:\Users\Admin\Documents\MAGIX\Samplitude Pro X3 Suite but with a subfolder. Remove the USB

Hi, You need to transfer all files associated with the VPX. Wave and other recordings are not part of the VIP, they are separate files and need to be transferred along with the VIP. Try, File, Clean up, Save Complete VIP in... and save everything

RE: Interleaved Recording - Pro X4
I sync the Tascams with both TC and WC. TC is set to 00:00:00:00 for the start of the gig which brings the files from the two recorders in at the same horizontal place in the VIP (and right at the start of the VIP, not down the line somewhere), and

RE: Interleaved Recording - Pro X4
Jeff, Understood, and appreciated. About merging stereo mic arrays - I didn't do a good job explaining this. If I have an X/Y or Blumlein pair over the conductor's head, that gets tracked to CH1 and CH2, then combined into a single stereo pair after

RE: SF Audio Cleaning Lab - Spectral Editing Problem
Hi, welcome to the Magix forums. I think you are entirely correct! I never use 96kHz files so this was something of an experiment for me. I imported a 96kHz file to ACL and the Info tab told me it was resampling the file, to 48kHz. I discovered

RE: SF Audio Cleaning Lab - Spectral Editing Problem
In fact, I've just noticed that while you can import and play 96 khz files in AF Audio Cleaning Lab, saving the VIP converts the audio file to 44.1 khz, which is a bit obnoxious.

Various trouble with Samplitude ProX4
I installed and updated ProX4 Samplitude. It doesn't work properly. When I open an old project (made with ProX3), the are strange noises, the different tracks lost the sync (like bad musicians when they lost the tempo), and I read Playbuffer

A small add. When I lower the VIP buffer setting the clicking doubles in speed everytime I lower the buffer size. The highest I can go is 32768.
