RE: Playback along with audio stuttering every 1-3 seconds
It can be problematic to use a wireless/USB device for recording/playback. I would recommend something that is connected via audio cable. DAWs like Samplitude record sample accurate. That's why you need a low latency connection.

RE: SFPro continually crashes - versions 14-18
@SteveMTNO This could be the cause of your crashes. I suspect that there is a problem with rendering and outputting such a high sample rate on the GPU audio output. Have you tried to simply use the Microsoft Sound Mapper and the audio output of your

RE: Wav Files Analysis - Key And Tempo
@ItsMeTho No, Sound Forge can't do this. Generally, for key and tempo detection I personally have use tools like Melodyne, RipX or Sononym. But these aren't perfect either. To my knowledge these programs don't offer a way to fill tags with the

@mlp-mlp Hi. upgrading from Sony Movie Studio 12 to Magix 2025 Platinum Magix Movie Studio is not an upgrade from Sony Movie Studio 12, Magix Movie Studio is a different program but it is a good basic editor, as you say you're looking for 'simple

@Reyfox @spuddy13 Hi. MMS and VPX do not support vst3 unless you wish to use it in Stand alone mode which would mean having to sync the audio back into the video. You would need a supporting host program like Vegas Pro to use within an NLE video

RE: Can get Samplitude to record in 96kHz
@Jim-Roshelli Has the project the same sample rate? Yes, I open the interface then Samp and they both default to 44.1. I go in and change both to 96 and shortly afterwards they both switch themselves back to 44.1.

@brian-johnson Are you using compressed file formats like MP3 for your loops? This may be a cause for popping and clicking or other glitches. Is your ASIO buffer size set to the maximum (2048 samples?)

@Scott-Rindenow The first thing to check is that the audio sampling rate for your video file matches that of your project. The latter is almost certainly 48kHz; if the former is anything less than this there is every possibility that the audio will

Hi @Hi-NRG2, I cannot find any difference recording a two-channel source using discrete #2 or stereo. btw, a sample rate setting 768kHz is way over over-kill. 44.1k or 48kHz is usually sufficient. Though many studios track music or S/FX at 88k, 96k

@SteveMTNO 88 samples is tiny. I recommend at least 512. Maybe 1024 or 2048. Does this help with stability? Thanks again for your replies, SP. I really appreciate it. I'll try to play around with this some more tonight. Might not be till tomorrow
