Still it would be wonderful if Samplitude developers would surpass what Izotope has done to undo the damage of overcompressed recordings.

    RE: cannot burn dvd+R
I recall DVD-R was more reliable to burn successfully in consumer DVD burners. Try winding the burn speed right back to 4x. You could also try "burning" to the image recorder/ISO and then using IMGBurn to burn the ISO. This might also be of interest

@Colin-Moore4378 Based on a previous post you made I'm guessing this is a question about ACL 16. Is this correct? You say you have recorded the same track in the past but now [it] omits some instrumentation. Taken literally at face-value I have to

RE: How to set up Sound Forge Pro 17 (x64) to record audio?
This is a real horror! None of the options are working! No matter what driver I choose it won't record! It works on Adobe Audition 21 but SF 17 won't! It neither records what is heard from the computer nor the input in the sound card!

RE: Playback along with audio stuttering every 1-3 seconds
It can be problematic to use a wireless/USB device for recording/playback. I would recommend something that is connected via audio cable. DAWs like Samplitude record sample accurate. That's why you need a low latency connection.

@Oka I have a bunch of MP3 audio files after converting my LPs, First, you need to remember that, even at the highest bit rate, .mp3 is a compressed format and some, often fine detail of the original will always be removed by the compression process

I am using a folder in user/documents. Not a temp file. I am not doing any editing on the file (may nornalize). I can see why you save as a wave file. I used the reset all preferences and clear cache. Recorded again, same thing. If I go to the file

Hi @Hi-NRG2, I cannot find any difference recording a two-channel source using discrete #2 or stereo. btw, a sample rate setting 768kHz is way over over-kill. 44.1k or 48kHz is usually sufficient. Though many studios track music or S/FX at 88k, 96k
