RE: GDIPlusExif Exception ocurred
@S-H8086 Hi Thanks for the feedback. . . . . I blame upload/download on Google . . . . If the images are in Google Photos this may be the cause of the EXIF info being corrupted, there have been many incidences of it causing EXIF issues. John EB

RE: GDIPlusExif Exception ocurred
Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I think I've narrowed it down to dodgy GPS EXIF data. I blame upload/download on Google!! Cheers.

RE: GDIPlusExif Exception ocurred
@S-H8086 Hi If this occurs for the same images every time you look at that images properties, the most likely cause is the data in the file header(s) is corrupt. When you click OK does the Properties' pane open correctly, and do you see any odd

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
@clement5 Hi John C . . . . There are 2 specs X Resolution, and Y Resolution exif tags, . . . . The X and Y resolution tags are the number of pixels per inch for the width and height of the image and have nothing to do with the AR ratio. They are,

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
I export stills for processing using Paint Shop Pro. The two uses are for noise and artifact removal or to use as a mask. Some players use the display aspect ratio, and some do not. I don't know what YouTube does, but many players have controls to

RE: Upon importing my photos, they turn to black and white or all black
@Gid Here is my finding with your HEIF file. It works in Vegas Pro 22 Both MMS2024 and VPX16 do not recognise the file and it does not even appear in the Media Pool. But if you change the extension to HEIC, it does appear in the Media Pool. MMS2024

RE: No Longer Able to Render Project
@joe-macnab @johnebaker @Gid @me_again Hi. In among the exif data it says language Japanese. I wonder if some Japanese characters have been embedded into the file encoding somehow. I'm not even sure it would be a problem but I have never seen that

@Gid Hi Gid . . . . I got an iPhone HEIF from a friend, he has the latest updates on his phone. . . . Thanks for the iPhone image, the EXIF data shows this to be from an iPhone 13 mini. The MediaInfo data is very different, as you can see

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
Yes, and I am doing the export from VD of sections to edit, but even then the import is a problem for stills. They need to be adjusted for proper output, but what you see in the video window is not what ends up being exported for stills. So there is

RE: Incorrect frame rate on AVI output, incorrect display of frame
The standard for the US is to have a film shot at 24fps is to put it on Blu-Ray at 23.976 (24000/1001). The standard for the transmission of video is 29.97 and also for DVD, which means it has to be telecined to fit a movie onto a DVD. All you have

RE: VPX 17 - project folder - transferring clip from list to timeline
@browj2 @Betovalle Our testing has determined that VPX does not use the file's EXIF or data input from Windows or other programs to populate the Comments, Scenes, Takes or Rating fields. Rather these fields are maintained within the VPX Project's

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
I looked at the list of exif data in the Wikipedia and the resolution figures were the only numbers that could make sense as determining the aspect ratio. Windows reports them. They are used along with the size in pixels to determine the size in
