  Activating the "Extra" (included) effects packages in Movie Studio 202
  I have tried contacting NewBlue, proDAD, and Magix for support (the latter cannot even create a support ticket - "The support request could not be saved."). I bought Magix Movie Studio 2024 Suite on 29 December 2025. I have today (18th Feb 2026)

  Hi, I was using version 18. I went to look for an update. I saw that you separated from Magix. I purchased version 20 for life and at a discount! But before, I had uninstalled version 18. 2 things I did wrong! I was disappointed with version 20

  That is good for some but not for my needs. Regardless Magix should write on the product page that this is the final version. New users assume there will be updates and after Magix gets its money the user is left stranded.

  @Pierre_S Ref MXV, it does yield better quality but, by the looks, is only available in Video Easy's big brothers, Magix Movie Studio and VPX. As Ray said, it's a proprietary Magix codec and you do run the risk of being stranded with it being
