@johnebaker Thanks for the definitions, John. Help has zero information on "Smart Render" and very little on Smart copy, saying it's for AVCHD ("If this option is activated, unedited AVCHD material with hard cuts is transferred without changes. This

@doane HI . . . . the AVCHD, doesn't play back on my home BlueRay player . . . When I click to play either story it starts with the music playing and the first image, but won't advance to the next photo. I'm using the HD Static-General-Blue Grid

    RE: Crashing in Windows 10
@Mike-Edmonston Hi Are you creating or intend to create Blu-ray discs with the software? If so then there is a 'compatibility issue' with hardware acceleration encoding of AVCHD Interlaced video on Nvidia GPUs which support NVENC eg the GTX 10xx

RE: 2026 Manual doesn't agree with program - Split Photostory, etc.
Now I'm having trouble burning a disk. I have Sony DVD-R 4.7gB disks. I choose the AVCHD 1920x1080 NTST default and all encoding and I get a message about my graphic card needing to be updated because hardware encoding is deactivated?

Re your comment above, I have another problem. The Sony DVD-R disk I burned, that I mentioned above, the AVCHD, doesn't play back on my home BlueRay player. I get the main menu screen with the two story lines switchable and it looks great in HD.

RE: Weird issue with using Smart Copy/Smart Render in MEP 2019 Premium
@jak.willis Interesting. The cynic in me says that Magix had problems with Smart Copying and Rendering and have tightened up on the file compliance, so much so it won't even smart copy one of it's own AVCHDs in the latest versions.

@johnebaker @CubeAce @Bol @ghijohansson Guys, where are we getting 5.1 surround sound? Reading the manual, the Canon XA-10 camcorder only supports 2 channels. It's just an HD AVCHD camcorder released in 2011. I don't think the software is going to

I have had the same problem and it seems that Windows 11 have removed the AC-3 codec that MMS 2023 relies on.Google "Microsoft Dolby AC3 Installer" and run it.Be patient during the process, let it finish. It solved my issue of not being able to burn

Hello @AAProds , is your Magix Video Deluxe 2026 up to date? If so, you might be experiencing problems with NVENC H264 (AVCHD). Exporting should be smooth with NVENC H265 (HEVC). The number of affected users is small. It seems only a small number of

@CubeAce G'day Ray, Yes, I just used the AVCHD 1920x1080 50P HQ preset but upped the bitrates to 30,000 and 33,000, leaving everything else the same, as in your last image. Hard to get a decent Task Manager snap, it's so fast!
