  @NappeR Another idea. Right click on the Acid desktop icon and try the Compatibility mode in the properties. Maybe it works with Windows 10 compatibility mode.

  Do you have SF Audio Studio 12 or SF Pro 12. AS-12 was a one-time build so preset compatibility with other versions be an issue. I think VST presets would be compatible though.

  @daniel-DIAZ2990 Try running the software in Windows 7 or 8 compatibility mode. For this, make a right click on the Sound Forge icon, select Properties and open the Compatibility tab.

  @Patricia-Stuart How old is it? If it was released before 2008 I don't think the copy protection is compatible with modern Windows 11 and won't recognize the original CD.

  @DZangger It wasn't updated since 2016 and has compatibility problems with modern Windows 10 and 11. I suggest you use another application, maybe the free MusicBee.
