  Greetings, For years now, I've been using Quicktime Alternative 1.8.1 mainly because I occasionally use MPEG Streamclip which requires it and MS2025 works with it. During a bout of certifiable stupidity I uninstalled Qalternative. "Oops" I thought,

  MPEG4
  I paid for the MPEG4 addition and it said it successfully loaded but I still cannot open MP4 videos in Magix Movie Studio Pro 14. Only get black screen. Any suggestions or ideas will be appreciated..

  [Closed] MPEG4 codec
  I have Magix Movie Edit Pro 14 and am confused as to which forum I should ask this question to..... MPEG4 will not add to timeline nor export. I purchased an activation code from Magix and it still won't work. Any suggestions please. Thank you

  Hello @zdenekrsa, You're welcome. However, you cannot and should not confuse the standard MPEG-2 codec with the MPEG-2 codec (MainConcept). I know that in previous versions you could download and use the MPEG-4 codec (MainConcept) and MPEG-2 codec

  Some more info... I reset the program settings to default: still joy with activating MPEG 4. I then did a standard uninstall and reinstall: MPEG-4 files came in with no issue, no activation required.
