Publishing websites using SFTP or FTPS

Since Version 11, websites can be uploaded to your web hosting service using SFTP and FTPS.
- To start the upload procedures go to "File" > "Publish website".
- Click on "Publish to an alternative web host".
- Select "Other Web host" ad click on "Settings".
- Under "Connect using", select the type of connection you want to use.
Port number
By default, Web Designer and Designer Pro use port 22 for SFTP uploads and port 21 for FTPS. These are the standard ports for secure FTP connections.
