    Convert vhs to dvd
Don't let that video collection you took years to build linger on the shelf. The time has come to convert those old bulky tapes to DVD and enjoy them once again.

Bait and switch! You buy this crap, then have to buy more software- to get it to work. The staff at best buy were useless- knew nothing about it. Except that I needed Microsoft 10. I have a brand new gaming laptop. But the magix movie maker is not loading on it. This is how they responded: . "- Make sure that the correct version of the redistributable is installed. If it is not, you should be

Having experience of Proshow Producer I thought I would be able to fathom out how to do pan and zoom effects although it would not be the same easy route as Proshow. It was easy to do transitions in Photostory Deluxe 2016 but I am still confused on how to do pan and zoom effects. The amount of effects etc. Photostory can do according to the demo files makes it seem a bargain at the price as

I had problems with MEP 17 not recognizing my dvd burner and some other minor issues.  Following the instructions suggested in this PDFworked perfectly.

Is it the normal interface or the template interface. Both are different. There are also 3 option to chose  1) Manually compile files 2)Copy cd/dvd directly 3)Burn copy of an already created video dsic I have tried

RE: VHS to Video Transfer Guide
Just wondering, does VHS to DVD have a different version of magix included with it? I bought the Video Converter box with Magix in it (SE) and updated to the Windows 8 version. The version I have doesn't seem to have some of the functions you mentioned, Such as export and finishing time. You can't see the dropped frame as well (which would be handy). Another question (which has bugged me from

douglasslb, do you mean as in connecting both videos into one? I haven't used their software yet. I loaded it up expecting something that wasn't [it's far to primative for me] and sorry mod's but it is. anyway let me go load it up and see if that primative thing can splice vid's together.   Ok I just tried it. You add your files onto the movie/video time line then save it to your computer

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Photo Story
I have just added to a new slideshow with 168 pictures and titles with relative ease. The problem that I have now is editing these pictures. I have successfully edited the picture I have in the system and have reviewed the slideshow and it looks perfect.......................................Burning this show reverts back to the original project!! It is nervewracking to burn many DVD's to have

So I`m not the only one unhappy with this program. I`ve got music on my slideshow I can`t get rid of! And trying to get answers on the net is useless. Back to Windows DVD maker for me! Fast and straightforward to use.

    RE: Soundpool DVDs collection comparison
Thanks nihon94 this is very useful compilation. I recently ordered for 6 DVD pack of soundpools from 9 to 15 and looking forward to create music using that. One query - as part of MMM16 - which soundpools sounds are used - is it Soundpool 16 or is it unique to it not part of the 6 DVD set or soundpool 16? thanks!

Love the slideshow capabilities BUT totally agree that there needs to be much better documentation and tutorials.  The DVD burning process is extremely frustrating and puzzling.  It should not take sveral hours to burn a DVD.  Did you pay off TopTenReviews to give Xtreme Photo Story the best rating?  I've run into problems with the program intermittently not recognizing fade selections and no

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro
There are many versions of each magix product (made for different areas of the world and languages). If you are using a UK version of one of the programs and you try to use material from north american dvds it may not work. This is because dvds from europe and north america are in different formats. I am by no means an expert especially when it comes to video editing software but I believe in

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro
I agree this company is a joke, with false advertisement, you cannot transfer uncopyrighted dvd to device with sound, the tiny handbook is totaly unhelpfull as is this website, IF YOUR READING THESE COMMENTS TO DECIDE WETHER TO BUY A MAGIX PRODUCT, DONT DO IT, JUST DONT DO IT, THERE ARE PLENTY OF PRODUCTS OUT THERE THAT ACTUALLY DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY CAN THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro
I am highly disappointed with the Movie Edit Pro 15 software and manuals. The simple burning of an existing video in avi format onto a DVD disk is made complicated and the sound is not even transferred to the disk. The preview before burning but after importing is also soundless.

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Photo Story
I recently bought the software to make slide shows from the photos. Have done two "dummy runs" of DVDs, in preparation for the holiday photos with a few hundred photos. There seems to be a narrow range of the photo effects. Though I'll give it a go and work my way through the workshop.

RE: Getting started: MAGIX Photo Story
Its a great piece of software and I've learned a lot by just doing. But this tutorial is way too brief and incomplete.  Why not use an interactive approach.  It should go step by step creating a small slide show, discussing all options.  For instance, I'm very confused about setting up the menu.  As an international company it might help to explain how I set up for USA or European DVD creation.
