I am sharing my experience of making music by Music Maker 16 Premium in this pdf e-book. I have used very simple Enlgish, less text and more images. I purchased this program along with the video editing software through Sweetwater. I have not used the video editor yet, but have been using Music Maker. It started out fine and now it's a complete nightmare. After purchasing multiple soundpool files I'm now unable to record or save any music, despite paying for the commercial licensing for all the soundpools. I'm very disappointed. I should have

Hi Greg, I have started a new Getting Started in MusicMaker tutorial more than once, never finished. If you buy Plus or Premium, look at some of the other threads about activation, downloading and installing. I have searched and searched but so far this is the only thread I could find that said anything about it and this pdf is not helping. i find it interesting that the majority of soundpools are either HipHop, Movies, or Techno.  Whats wrong with cowboy musisc or surf guuitars....Come on Magix, expand your horizons.

Excellent.  However, does anyone have a similar "how to" to get the soundpools for MM17 Premium?? I've followed all installation instructions, but the instruments just do not show up. I think the files get dumped to "C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Applications/Magix/Music_Maker_17_Premium_Download_Version/" I can't find anything in the manual that helps. Any help out there

Nicely done but I don't think it answers the question "can I use audio file as soundpool" and if the answer is yes then how can I do that ?   Thanks for your answer if you have it.   Domo arigato.

nihon94,   Thanks a million man!!! I actually had to delete all the files from the soundpool and reinstall them. there are still a few that won't work but I think i'll just start a new folder called Don't work for all these and just reinstall that folder when necessary.. nonetheless, your PDF file is awesome.. thanks for taking the time to do that. Thanks nihon94 this is very useful compilation. I recently ordered for 6 DVD pack of soundpools from 9 to 15 and looking forward to create music using that. One query - as part of MMM16 - which soundpools sounds are used - is it Soundpool 16 or is it unique to it not part of the 6 DVD set or soundpool 16? thanks!

Thanks for the mesage on this - I had trouble locating the new soundpools and did find them in my public folder.  I am glad to see your explaination so others will understand. the download page from Magix should explain that they are going to be placed there by the software and not in the applications program folder as they have stated. It appears you invested a great amount of time in your
