how to record vocals on music maker?

I purchased this program along with the video editing software through Sweetwater. I have not used the video editor yet, but have been using Music Maker. It started out fine and now it's a complete nightmare. After purchasing multiple soundpool files I'm now unable to record or save any music, despite paying for the commercial licensing for all the soundpools. I'm very disappointed. I should have

Thanks John, I must have had video issues. I went to YT and subscribed to your videos. I'm really interested in learning how to use Music Maker to make some nice pads for Worship service. We are a small church and only have a pianist, guitarist and me as a drummer. Looking to create a fuller sound. So this shall be an interesting journey for me. Again thanks!  

@Greg-Kavonius The title of the tutorial is "Getting Started in Music Maker 2015 Premium..." Of course it's outdated - 2015 should be a tipoff, no? The video still works, I just tried it, and it's also on my YT channel. The newer versions are quite different, but some of the fundamentals are the same. John CB

you can simply right click the mouse, too, while hovering over the display and it will give you several options, one of which is to add another track. check out some of my music postings if you want to see some of the stuff that can be done with music maker. i use it exclusively.

So after tons of playing with this, it appears that you have to go through about 8 steps to find the audio settings, then you can only lister to Music Maker OR any other  program on your pc?? attached is a screenshot. it only gives me two options: enable 1. high definition audio OR 2. ws audio  high def audio is music maker. when that's on, no other audio on my pc is enabled. ws audio is

Hello there, I have Music maker MX but my problem is that I cannot hear a playback while I'm recording. I checked the "Playback while recording" box, but still can't hear playback. I am using Realtek HD sound driver. Tried to install ASIO driver but it did not work either. I can playback  what I have recorded but can't hear during recording. Your advices is highly appreciated. Thanks....

Hello, I just bought the Magix music maker MX but I can't find the function that I am looking for. For example, the guitar chords, I don't know if I am on chord C or G or F or etc. Also I can't find where to go if I want to change the chord C to C7 or C minor for example. Can anybody show us here how to find these functions? because the manual that comes with it has no step by step method. This

You left out adjusting the "Buffer" size to help with latency. Everything in your .Pdf is pretty much taken from the help section of "Music Maker MX".  

Excellent.  However, does anyone have a similar "how to" to get the soundpools for MM17 Premium?? I've followed all installation instructions, but the instruments just do not show up. I think the files get dumped to "C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Applications/Magix/Music_Maker_17_Premium_Download_Version/" I can't find anything in the manual that helps. Any help out there

So I`m not the only one unhappy with this program. I`ve got music on my slideshow I can`t get rid of! And trying to get answers on the net is useless. Back to Windows DVD maker for me! Fast and straightforward to use.

omg, thats what i needed to know so bad too, thx so, so much for takeing the time out to make us the pdf, i was like going silly crazy trying to figure out what was wrong, now i am going to be a much happier music maker :)
