@Vitaly Hi, There are 2 different ways of using masks in MEP. The first way, and what you are referring to is done by masking an effect on a single video or photo. I'd guess that not even 15% of the You Tube videos are worthwhile and I concur with your assessment on the information contained in your beginning tutorials. They probably save people about a year of trial and error experimentation. This program is a bear to learn so thanks again for a great contribution to the cause.

Thanks John, I must have had video issues. I went to YT and subscribed to your videos. I'm really interested in learning how to use Music Maker to make some nice pads for Worship service. We are a small church and only have a pianist, guitarist and me as a drummer. Looking to create a fuller sound. So this shall be an interesting journey for me. Again thanks!  

@Greg-Kavonius The title of the tutorial is "Getting Started in Music Maker 2015 Premium..." Of course it's outdated - 2015 should be a tipoff, no? The video still works, I just tried it, and it's also on my YT channel. The newer versions are quite different, but some of the fundamentals are the same. John CB

I just purchased Magix 2019 Plus Edition and it does not have Elastic Audio included and all the videos I saw of it shows it included so since I planned on upgrading and this was supposed to be on this version I bought it. Can someone please give some info on this matter?

Really crappy program. After a couple of videos it stops working and gives me that black video. tried all the 'solutions' found online. waste of money, hope I can return this crappy software. even the 'update', which they offered a day after installing, screwed it up until i found a solution to that problem. one program=multiple problems +wasted time+frustration.

Hi José, Well done! Now look at the beginning of the video again and you will see that the first method is to simply overlap the two videos on track 1, no need to put the second video on track 2. Your second and third examples would be better this way. This makes a transition and you can adjust the length of the transition that you want. Then drag the Spicemaster effect onto the transition

Question... I noticed in yur tutorial, in your file,settings, programY.... under Video/Audio. these two things are unchecked 1-GPU acceleration 2-Auto interlace   and under System, this is unchecked 1 automatic preview   should I do the same?

Is it the normal interface or the template interface. Both are different. Hi Guys, For those of you who couldn't hear the sound I had the same problem. It was resolved when I closed Magix, then I was able to hear the sound. In fact, I couldn't get sound from any online videos until I shut Magix down.
