RE: Creating a transition from a video clip using the Mask Generator
Good Morning John I used your "Creating a transition from a video clip using the Mask Generator" and it works perfectly for me. I've made about 10 different transitions from that tutorial and that's more than enough for me. I don't need to buy that 1700 effects and transitions as advertised so much. I would like to try making a custom transition as follows (this is just an example) I have 2

Multi-cam editing in Video Pro X6
This is a tutorial for anyone who has not attempted multi-cam editing or who is having problems getting started. It was done with and for Magix Video Pro X6 (VPX6), although some parts may apply to Movie Edit Pro (MEP). John Auvil has done a good tutorial for Movie Edit Pro. Magix has a tutorial for Movie Edit Pro 2015. There are some differences. One of the differences that I did not

RE: Creating a Fancy Title Intro using Magix Movie Edit Pro
@Vitaly Hi, There are 2 different ways of using masks in MEP. The first way, and what you are referring to is done by masking an effect on a single video or photo. See the tutorial indicated below, particularly from 8:30 onwards. You either create or load a mask using the dropdown arrow of an effect, Create effect mask or Load effects mask. This puts the effect onto the track below the video and

RE: Magix Movie Edit Pro - Basic Editing Part 2 - Cutting and Trimming
Thank you John. The best of any tutorial I've seen since buying the program. I'd guess that not even 15% of the You Tube videos are worthwhile and I concur with your assessment on the information contained in your beginning tutorials. They probably save people about a year of trial and error experimentation. This program is a bear to learn so thanks again for a great contribution to the cause.

RE: MEP & VPX6 with Pixelan SpiceMaster Pro - Part 1 - Introduction to animated masks for fades & transitions
Hi José, Well done! Now look at the beginning of the video again and you will see that the first method is to simply overlap the two videos on track 1, no need to put the second video on track 2. Your second and third examples would be better this way. This makes a transition and you can adjust the length of the transition that you want. Then drag the Spicemaster effect onto the transition

RE: How to start a film?
Good advice for beginners: to begin, just put some visuals and sounds on the timeline. It would help to make the tutorial a bit less wordy and cut out frames of the desktop; get to the point and stick to it, as my writing coach would say. Thanks for posting. "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step".

RE: How to reduce a clip to nothing then expand it again to full size
It didn't work for me.  I found I had to establish the keyframes first, then modify the middle one.  It makes for a streamlined workflow. 1.  Import the picture. 2.  Go to Effects/Movement Effects/Size/Position. 3.  Set a keyframe at the beginning, middle, and end of the object. 4.  Click on the middle keyframe icon in the effects timeline. 5.  Change the width to 1 and tab out of the

Ok I got it to play but the quality that this website shows the uploaded tutorials suck! Every time I try to enlarge the video to full screen it freezes with the exception of the audio or the whole thing starts from the beginning.

RE: Website Maker: How to build sub navigations
Hi André Excellent idea to write this workshop in English, too. It's well explained and understandable. It's exactly the way I did it on my website, although I did not build the sub-navigation right from the beginning when I started creating my website. It is also possible to add it subsequently. Just place the vertical navigation (of your example) on every sub-page that belongs to the subject
