I have MAGIX Movie Edit Pro Plus - Version 20.0.1.80 (UDP3) UG code 8452 KA1 I believe this a 2021 version... @timmyfredsmith Hi, You should not be using or have to use the Main Concept CODEC. Some users do, but it is obsolete and also caused some problems in older versions. I suggest that you post this on the forum and the gurus can reply. Include the actual version number that you'll find under Help, About. John CB

I couldn't agree more....... just bought MEP 2020.... cannot render a file in Mp4 to save my life. Tried EVERYTHING! The cost of the codec was minimal - less than $5.00, why, why ,why is it not included in the product and made sure it works before sale.

Sadly, I feel that the whole process of having to install and activate the MPEG codecs is a waste of money, time and effort as the cost of the codecs is minimal they should be built into the price of the product - as they are in most software that produces video output. What do I have to do to open and play the video on this listing? I have installed the newest Flash player and have most current codecs for Windows Media palyer. Nothing happens when I click on open video !
