Is it possible to choose a web address for the website I wish to publish?

Hi there, That's no problem - provided the desired sub domain isn't taken yet, of course. Just log into your Website Maker account, go to "User details" (in the top navigation bar) and click on "Change subdomain" (on the right-hand side). You will get to edit the sub domain name in the next screen. I hope this helps! This does not help as I am not using website maker, I am using FTP. I would like to change my site and it's name. Is that possible...

How can i change my web address?

Hi, I guess you mean for example http://pendi.magix.net/website. Login on magix-website.com, klick on user details in the top navigation, chose "Change subdomain"...... I believe you are speaking about the Web Maker module. I would like to know, how does one change the name of a hosted site, that I have put up using Web Design 6? Can you please help me???

adding logo to browser address bar

Hi Agi, I have my .ico in my route directory and since I have worked with html before, will have no problem with the links. My question is, whenever a change is made using web design, the html is changed with it. Does this mean that everytime I change something on my site, I have to reopen my index.htm and reenter the link??? - bri <3 Hi Agi, I don't know about website maker ... but it is possible Have a look at the following website http://www.chami.com/tips/internet/110599i.html You'll need to be able to edit the html of your index page to include the following <link rel="icon" href="favicon.ico" /> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" /> create an icon using an icon editor (free ones are available on the www), name it "favicon.ico" and Up-load it to the same directory as your index.htm A shortcut icon for Internet Explorer must be square in size, and at least 16 x 16 pixels. How to get quick and proper help?

This was a potentially helpful tutorial, except, after I downloaded the program and did the scan for the drivers, only one of which was out dated, and that was for some obscrue thing (fax/modem) that I rarely use. Not my high speed modem, but the 26k one. Anyway, I was really pissed when. after the scan, instead of fixing anything, it just asked me to buy something. Delete!
