@SCT Du kannst versuchen, die Programmeinstellungen zurückzusetzen. Dazu gehst du in den entsprechenden Music-Maker-Order im Verzeichnis C:\Benutzer\*DeinWindowsNutzername*\AppData\Roaming\Magix\ und löscht oder verschiebst die Datei musicmaker.ini. Danach startet Music Maker mit den Standardeinstellungen, wie nach einer Erstinstallation. Das könnte schon ausreichen.

Außer die normalen MS Windows Udates wurden in der zwischenzeit auch keine weiteren Installationen unternommen. Ich bin ein wenig ratlos.

Rewire ist ein altes Protokoll, mit dem sich Musikprogramme untereinander steuern können.

Das Beenden über den Taskmanager hat aber zur Folge, dass keine MusicMaker.ini neu geschrieben wird.

Vielleicht doch eine vollständige Neuinstallation?

Prüfe vorher, ob das bei deinem Windows so eingestellt ist, wie es vom SUPPORT beschrieben wird.

@SCT Es könnte auch sein, dass die Software extrem langsam läuft und kaum auf Klicks reagiert. Das ist ein bislang ungelöster Fehler im Programm. Den kann man normalerweise beheben, wenn man in den Windows Einstellungen für Barrierefreiheit den Textcursor-Indikator deaktiviert oder das Programm mit einem rechtsklick auf die Desktop-Verknüpfung als Administrator startet. Hilft das in deinem Fall?

Ja, es war die Richtige *.ini ... und ich bin bis zu dem hier gezeigten Startbildschirm gekommen. Dann wollte ich ein bestehendes Projekt öffnen und der Bildschirm ist wieder eingefroren und es ließ sich wieder nur über den TaskManager schließen. Wie beschrieben, wurde auch keine neue ini erstellt.

Eine Neuinstallation, nach vorheriger Deinstallation, und unter Beachtung der o.g. Hinweise, hat leider auch keinen Erfolg gebracht. Nach der Neuinstallation ist das Programm normal gestartet. Als ich wieder ein Projekt öffnen wollte ist auch diesmal der Bildschirm wieder eingefroren.

Schließen wieder nur über Taskmanager. Bei erneutem Startversuch wieder beim beim Fenster SetViews* stecken geblieben. ... sozusagen wieder der Stand wie ganz am Anfang.

Die MusicMaker.ini ist im Pfad C:\Users\benutzerkonto\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\MM2026_Premium wieder vorhanden ... war ja auch nach der Neuinstallation.

... Hatte ich vor der Neuinstallation versucht. Die Einstellung zur Barrierefreiheit hatte ich kontrolliert. Ist wie beschrieben eingestellt. Eine Ausführung als Administrator hat keine Veränderung gezeigt.

Ich bin ratlos.

Wenn du den Music Maker zum Laufen bekommen hast, ein leeres Projekt speicherst und das Programm dann ordnungsgemäß beendest, wie verhält es sich beim nächsten Start?

Habe nocheinmal die *.ini gelöscht, dann Neustart. Programm startet normal. Habe das Startfenster geschlossen, ohne ein projekt zu laden und dann das Programm beendet.

Ein Neustart sagt, dass das Programm im Hintergrund noch läuft. Ein Blick in den TaskManager zeigt, dass das Programm als Hintergrundprozess noch läuft. Nachdem ich den Hintergrundprozess beendet habe, habe ich den Rechner neu gestartet - Neustart -

Das Programm bleibt dann wieder beim Fenster SetViews* stecken obwohl nicht einmal eine MuicMaker.ini angelegt wurde. Gibt es noch eine Idee?

Das klingt alle nicht gut, wenn der Music Maker nicht einmal einen normalen Start auf deinem Rechner hinbekommt.

Ich vermute ein verkorstes Windows.

@SCT Falls Windows beschädigt ist, wie @BilderMacher vermutet, dann kannst du versuchen es zu reparieren.

Öffne dazu cmd.exe als Administrator (am besten in die Windows-Suche cmd eingeben und dann mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Suchergebnis klicken, um als Administrator zu starten), gib

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

ein und drücke die Eingabetaste.

Windows lädt nun ein aktuelles Wiederherstellungsimage von den Microsoft-Servern.

Gib anschließend

sfc /scannow

ein und drücke die Eingabetaste.

Windows überprüft nun seine Systemdateien und versucht, diese mithilfe des neuen Images zu reparieren.

Vielleicht hilft das.

In Vorbereitung der Systemreparatur habe ich den Musicmaker deinstalliert.

dann Neustart

dann Installation MusicMaker

Start MusicMaker läuft normal. Nach dem Versuch ein Projekt zu öffen friert das Programm ein.

Schließen über TaskManager

Eine MusicMaker.ini wurde angelegt. Sie ist jedoch leer.

... Noch eine Idee?

@SCT Kann sein, dass die ini-Datei erst beim Beenden des Programms gefüllt wird. Da es aber abstürzt, bleibt die leer. Hast du zufällig noch den Magix Low Latency 2016 ASIO Treiber in den Einstellungen zur Auswahl? Der war bei alten Versionen des Music Makers dabei (ich glaube bis 2021). Der Treiber führt zu Problemen auf modernen Betriebssystemen. Den kann man aber manuell deinstallieren.

Um Magix Low Latency zu deinstallieren, klicke auf den Windows-Startknopf unten links und gib regedit ein. Klicke anschließend auf die Regedit-App.

Navigieren nun zu: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ASIO > Magix Low Latency 2016.

Klicke mit der rechten Maustaste auf den Ordner „Magix Low Latency 2016“ und lösche ihn.

Starte anschließend den Computer neu. Wähle dazu bitte die Option „Neustart“ und nicht „Herunterfahren“.

Ich hoffe, das hilft. Sollte es Probleme beim Löschen des Ordners geben, versuche Regedit als Administrator zu starten (per Rechtsklick).

Habe erfolgreich den Magix Low Latency 2016 ASIO Treiber entfernt. Nach "Neustart" von Windows das Programm gestartet. Läuft normal durch bis zum Startfenster. Habe dann von diesem Startfenster aus ein Demoprojekt (das 80er) zum Test öffnen wollen. Dabei ist er dann wieder hängen geblieben.

Als ASIO Treiber war der MusicMaker Asio eingestellt. Ich nutze normalerweise den Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO.

@SCT Da es bei dir bei den Live-Pads im Log aufhört, könnte es vielleicht helfen, die einmal zu deinstallieren. Schaue in den Windows Einstellungen unter Apps in der Liste der Installierten Apps und deinstalliere die App namens Magix Content und Soundpools. Dabei öffnet sich ein Fenster und ich glaube, da kann man die Live-Pads zur Deinstallation anhaken. Du kannst sie dann innerhalb des Music Makers wieder herunterladen.

Benutzt du einen zweiten Monitor? Hast du den testweise mal abgesteckt?

Du benutzt nicht zufällig Microsoft OneDrive und speicherst deine Music Maker Daten im OneDrive-Verzeichnis?

Welche Firewall/Antivirus-Software benutzt du? Den standard Windows Defender?
