Just got notified that there is a new Version of MEP.
This is the list of changes
Important changes in version 18.0.2.225:
* NEW! Dynamic title animations
* NEW! Track and object colors are independently selectable
* All Store purchases can be restored
* Downloads from the Store are now also possible via the small icons
* Improved stability
Aha, the infamous Dynamic title animations finally appear. Interesting, nice addition, but one cannot change anything but the text. Changing the colour, at least, would be nice.
It looks like they fixed the 3D title problems. At least with my first test, the second title did not become like the first title.
Nice to have independent track and object colours.
Store - these are not features that improve the program; they are for Magix to sell stuff. And yes, we should be able to restore purchase from the store and download from the Store.
I haven't checked out other problems that were on my list.

it's a small update size (seems to be 19mb download, but it may download more in the background). Install takes about 30 seconds on my system. After the install, the program seems to load faster. As for "the list", from what I can see so far
I'm not sure if I read this correctly but the initial update splash screen seems to indicate that the update renews (or gives you?) the 12 month update service. Could be wrong here though.

What would you use them for? The only thing I can think of is for highlighting clips that may require further work or removal.
Agree with the Dynamic titles they are restricted and some are very rapid eg Simple slide.
If you have more than 2 or 3 lines of text, eg have to resort to using the Speed effect to slow it down as low as x0.05 to get 11 lines of text in.

I'm not having problems with the 3D titles anymore and indeed my prior online purchases have been restored in full. I haven't had a chance to look at the Dynamic title animations yet.
As for the progressive green taskbar during saving. It seems to be working ok at my end.
[Edit] That's funny. All the buttons on the site have now come up in German.
The progressive green taskbar does indeed progress from the left to the right when saving, around 2 seconds on my system. All historic versions of MEP up to and including v2018 progressed with the percentage encoded, this could be hours. It's not worked properly in v2019. "Does it really matter?" I hear you cry. "Yes" I reply.
I do find annoying the fact that the editing icons do not stay where I put them. This is described in an earlier JohnCB post
And yes, this is the German Site for MEP, the clue is in the address bar. Curiously your (CubeAce) post shows simultaneously with the English Site. I've not yet checked if this post will show there.

EDIT yes it does show in the English site. I'm sure there must be a deep and meaningful reason why that is.
