Click at play head when I punch in rec on Sound Forge 13

Hi ya'll

I keep getting a click at play head when I punch in rec on Sound Forge 13.
It does not happen all the time, just pretty randomly it seems and I can not find a common denominator.
The crazy thing is that is just started to happen after I updated the driver for my Macie Big Knob but before I did that I got random click's during recording (any where not just at the start of a punch in at the play head).
Does this have something to do with cross fade in rec preferences?
Has anyone had this problem or knows a solution?

Usually clicking is the result of insufficient buffer size. You might try increasing the buffer size for your recording device.

The higher the buffer setting the greater the latency (lag), something that could screw up your timing if you're doing multitrack recording. You just want to increase the buffer size to the point where the clicking stops, but not beyond that.

Have you established that the buffer setting IS the issue, though? I mean, I could be wrong. There are a lot of things that could cause clicks, including electrical transients coming through the audio line. Mine was merely a suggestion.

There is no one-size-fits-all buffer setting... experiment. Also confirm the SF snap-to settings are enabled and set to Zero crossings. (Options menu in SF Pro.)

Something I'd like to know is: what happens when my hexagon turns completely green? Do I get a gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings or something?
