LUTS for Fujifilm cameras

Craigster escrito el 07.05.AM a las 00:39 horas

Still a newb here... I'm considering getting a Fujifilm camera. Their F-Logs are supposedly phenomenal.

I see that VPX has built-in LUTs for Sony, Canon, Panasonic, and Go-Pro. And I see instructions for how to create your own.

For using Fuji LUTs with VPX, is it just a matter of downloading the F-LOGs from Fuji and copying them into the LUTs folder that VPX accesses?

Thank you.

Craig

Yes, but I can not be sure whether they will do what you might be expecting. I tried some .cube Luts from Arri for their Alexa camera on some Log-C Prores Alexa footage to convert to REC 709, but it did not look too flash once applied - colour and contrast looked a bit off.

I guess you can only try it.

Hi

Fuji have a singlew file containing all the necessary cube files for thier various cameras - you need to unzip them and drop the appropriate camera cube file into the folder:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Videocontent\Video Pro X\VideoEffects\LUTPresets\LUTCamera

They should then appear in the appropriate Effects pane.
