Midi files import in Music Maker

Hi,
I make midi files with Magix Notation: the midi channels are separate (one for each instrument). But when I import a midi file in Magix Music Maker, all channels are in one single track ! How can I divide the channels to be able to assign an instrument to each one?

I have the same problem. When I used Midi Studio to import midi files they are automatically separated into their separate channels. Surely there is a better way in MM14 than having to filter, delete etc to get each channel separately??

There are different formats to save midi files with multiple instruments. If it is in Format 0, the entire song is saved as just one sequencer track. See if you can save it in Format 1, where the tracks will be kept seperate.
