CubeAce escrito el 21.10.PM a las 19:39 horas

My program just updated to this 19.0.1.31 version but I can't find any info on the update.

Can anyone point me to the page please?

[Edit] Warning! since uploading MEP keeps crashing on my machine half way through projects. It is loading all my ram and falling over after around a minute. No crash log is being sent. MEP restarts immediately after crashing.

It started with losing main audio track and after editing a timeline and then subsequently started crashing.

I'm going to try a rollback.

Different scenario here:

When I want to change the aspect ratio of the project, MEP stalls then crashes (sometime restarts)

I think I've found my problem.

I had rendered the project already for viewing before I altered the project. When it got to the edit the rendered section was from the previous edit. So I re-rendered the whole project and the problem ceased.

For Me I will mark this solved.

I don't know if this will help you.

You mark it as solved - My issue is slightly but ends in a crash

I'm not even sure if it is possible to change the aspect ratio of a recorded video.

The only way I know of doing that is to add bars to the sides to the required width.

If you try to alter the ratio you will be either clipping the sides or the top and bottom.

Either way, the resolution will suffer If that was not the result and the final render would be distorted in one plane or the other meaning pixels would be stretched or compressed, depending.

There could be a few ways to do this. One is to set up a project in the desired aspect ratio and then import the clips into it and not allow the program to alter the imported clips to the new ratio, or allow the clips to be altered to fit the screen and have no control over what bits go missing.

Either way, the result will look odd.

Some screen shots of your project might help someone come up with a workable solution as would some info on which ratio and resolution the project is in and the wanted size and aspect ratio you are trying to achieve.

If your issue has a different cause you should really start a new thread with as much information as you can give.

At least there is now an explanation as to what the update is for.

Improvements in version 19.0.1.31:

improved VEGAS Video Stabilisation Plugin

misinterpretation of anamorphic source material when using OFX plugins fixed.

Not sure what the second one is about.

FROZEN. I'm new to this software - purchased less than 24 hours ago. I'm several hours into my project and it is FROZEN. I've laid audio, music and in the process of adding SOT's - the program asked me if I wanted to convert the SOT to the compatible format (it said my file was too large) so I agreed and it FROZE. Is this perhaps the same issue?

Not happy.

Etwas Positives:

Vegas Stabilisierung läuft nun auf meinem PC.
Vorher wurde mit Support-Unterstützung meine Grafikkarte/PC (Signatur) als zu alt eingestuft.

mein Dank geht an die Produktentwickler.
