Hey everyone, I hope this lovely weather is cheering you up.
It certainly is for me, and I'm over the moon with this fabulous KORG Kronos 3, even if I don't play it every day. Last night, until 4:30 AM, I was still searching for combinations that I haven't modified yet, to create variations, but they're so sublime as they are, and I've added them to the set list, which I've tweaked to my liking, lol! And which I've got pretty good at now. You can put anything and everything in it and edit it however you want... And here's a combination from February 24th, a jazzy electro piece that I love to improvise. Yesterday I found a lot of cool ones in this style and other different styles. I have a lot of work ahead of me to replay the improvisations I've done with these combinations. In addition, I picked up my KORG NanoPad on Thursday, which I had ordered at the SonoVente opening in Reims la Neuvilette. It was a great distraction, especially with the conversation I had with someone I admire: Michel Deutsch, the official KORG France demonstrator. I first recorded this improvisation, unfortunately without filming myself, on a GarageBand track on my old iPad Air 2. And I recorded another track with the harmonium in three different improvisations, each filmed in a different way.
So here's the first one, which, as you'll see, is very expressive, like everything else...
Speaking of which, the NanoPad adds even more expressiveness and allows you to play chords that don't sound like they do when you play them on the keyboard. The same goes for the large touchpad, which doesn't behave like the ribbon controller on the Kronos. The pads are also apparently velocity and aftertouch sensitive. In any case, you can do whatever you want, and modify the KARMA across 4 Modules, its Sounds, etc... it's limitless, exhilarating and captivating, a real treat... Greetings from Pat W the Persevering.

Hallo zusammen!

Hey Pat, it's great to see this development in such a clean video. Your skills are definitely not those of a beginner; there's something coherent here. You've discovered something useful to practice and that you should definitely continue. The video is great from beginning to end. Your two-piano structure is amazing, as always, and now more than ever I see you as a truly persevering artist. Don't forget to put this on SoundCloud. Here's my Bandcamp profile if you want to see my music compiled into albums. Keep going, my friend. I'll keep listening to you here and there.

Hola Ben,

Hi Ben,
Thanks for watching. Of course I'm going to continue exploring this fabulous instrument that I've only had for a short time, since February 14th, and I don't play it every day, just like with my other instruments or software, because of other things I have to do. As for putting my music in audio format, as I used to do on SoundCloud and elsewhere, I didn't renew my paid subscription of almost 100 euros a year on SoundCloud. It no longer brought me any satisfaction, and like many others, I was losing followers. It's the same as Bandcamp, which is even worse: if you don't have enough activity and various actions, you quickly fall by the wayside and are forgotten, and you lose practically all your followers. Many of those followers on SoundCloud are created by the site to motivate you and are fake profiles. So, since I switched back to a free service, they ended up removing almost all my music. So I don't use it anymore, and Bandcamp is much worse; I've even seen reviews about it. On this site, I've only uploaded 5 or 6 songs over the years, and they've never done anything. If you don't do anything on this site, even several times a week, you quickly become completely forgotten. So I only post my videos on YouTube, Facebook Messenger, X, and LinkedIn. I almost stopped using MAGIX altogether after my partner passed away on July 13, 2023; I hadn't uploaded anything for months. And then a lot of former MAGIX users left for reasons I can easily imagine... All the best, Ben...

Cordiali saluti.

Wow, Patrick, my friend, this all sounds so cool again, and I'm really enjoying listening to it! I also notice that the sound quality of your recordings is much better now. Yes, and it's amazing what sounds the new digital synths and keyboards can produce these days, and the diverse editing options they offer – incredible! 😉

My friend, and there's one thing I have to tell you again and again: I have enormous respect for your musical talent! And in this new improvisation, you're once again showcasing your masterful skills! Thanks also for the wonderful video! 💯💯💯💯💯💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹👌👌👌👌👌👑👑👑👑👑💯💯💯💯💯

Hey mein Freund,
Mach's gut, mein Freund. Beste Grüße.

Hey my friend,
Your review is just as amazing, thank you so much. Yes, this Kronos is incredible, and I don't do any arrangements. I improvise and record directly onto GarageBand tracks, or, as I did the day before yesterday and again today, onto the Sequencer. I've finally learned how to save everything to the Kronos's hard drive, because the day before yesterday I lost a lot of combinations that I had created variations of by modifying the Karma and many other things. It does take a little time, but you get truly astounding orchestrations that you can't achieve on other synths, with endless variations and so much expressiveness while playing. But it's not really an arrangement since I don't do them with the Kronos, and it saves time... I already have tons of incredible combinations that I've put in my setlists, which will be for future improvised music. I already have tons of incredible combinations that I've put in my setlists, which will be for future improvised pieces. I've got my work cut out for me, as I said, so I've put all my other instruments and plugins aside... Take care, my friend... Best regards.
