BALLATA DI UN FIORE NATO MORTO

Oggi piango la mia rabbia e il mio dolore
perché è morto è morto un altro fiore,
un fiore che doveva ancor sbocciare,
un fiore che non potrà più amare,
e non potrà mai più vedere,
ne inverni ne dolci primavere.

Un bel fiore che è stato concepito
da una pianta che era assai malata,
resa cieca da un grande folle amore,
nel silenzio non si ode nessun vaggito
perché il fiore ormai non ha più voce,
perché il fiore è morto di morte atroce.

   Se la pianta avesse avuto
   solo un poco di coscienza
   non avrebbe acconsentito
   di far feto per la scienza.
   E sarebbe stato meglio
   a proceder con l’aborto,
   anziché tergiversare
   e partorire un fiore morto.

Io mi chiedo se siano state giuste
tutte  quelle incoscienti decisioni,
e di lasciare il caso al caso
e non fermare gli embrioni,
così che il crudele destino
non facesse morire un altro fiore.

   Se la pianta avesse avuto
   solo un poco di coscienza,
   ecc.ecc.

Cara pianta se ti capita in futuro
di ricever qualche seme metti un muro,
usa  tutta la tua contraccezione,
metti una barriera con attenzione,
perché sappi che un fiore che non nasce,
è sempre meglio di un fiore morto in fasce.

Today I weep my anger and my pain
because dead is dead another flower,
