Hi Holly,

I haven't had this exact problem, but had something very similar. Whilst working in 3D mode, the 3d tab suddenly disappeared and I couldn't work in 3d or get it back.

The advice I was given was to save the project, then go to the top toolbar 'File' tab, then 'Settings < reset programme to default settings'. This gave me the 3d tab back and hopefully will do the same for you. You can then reload your project and carry on.

There seems to be a bug in the programme which turns things off under certain circumstances. For me I believe it was when I switched the output to an external monitor, then back again.

Hope that helps

Roger

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!! You saved my project! It worked!!! I can't believe this program sometimes. I really like it, but yes, there are some issues with it that I hope they work out in the future. Again, a big thank you.   :)

So pleased I could help Holly I felt the same way when I was told how to get the 3d tab back.

The programme is so good that it is frustrating when silly little things like that happen that can waste hours of your time. The same with the total lack of help on how to use various functions, you have to guess I am trying to work with collages at the moment, can't find any details of how to use them anywhere in the help files, manual or tutorials. I'm making progress but it's trial and error.

Happy editing

Roger
