The Movie Edit Pro is the video program I use but I am also using it to record my own voice overs for videos. I want to know how I can reduce or is possible, remove my breathing from the recording. I know there is an audio clean up section but I don't know how to operate it in order to reduce the breathing in the audio file. Can someone show me how its done and if there is a plug-in that I can use that can further assist me?
AFAIK there is no plug-in or effect that can remove the breathing effectively - a lot depends on the unwanted sound eg very light breathing, popping or heavy overload of the mic.
You have to eliminate the cause, the most common of which is you are too close to the mic.
Other causes depend to some extent on the mic type and its response pattern - try putting the mic to one side out of direct line of the mouth and nose.
If you are using a headset with a mic on a boom, then it is in the wrong position, usually too near the mouth and nose, the mic should have a short boom length that allows the mic capsule to be placed off to one side, again out of direct line of the mouth and nose.
Do you have the Plus or Premium version? Or just basic?
In MEP, you can reduce the breathing sounds by using the volume curve and reducing the volume at every location of breathes. Do you know how to use the volume curve on an object? Start by going to the Audio effects part of Effects.
Further to those suggestions from John EB and John CB you could also try opening the right click > Audio Cleaning dialog and under the noise reduction section (I cannot check exact steps at present) add your own recording of 'breathing noise' to the existing presets, then apply that to the narrative clips you want to improve.
If you are not using a headset mic try using a pop filter when you record. If you don't know what that is just Google it. You can get one for about $15.

I should've specified what I was using, my bad. I'm using a headset mic so what do I do about that?

I learned about the audio cleaning but barely tried it as I just wanted to make sure I got the right idea before I screwed anything up. I'll try this out when I get a chance and I'll give an update then if anything goes right, wrong, or just have anything else in general to ask. I just wanted to avoid this problem before I complete making videos as even I don't want to hear my own breathing.

Headset mic for starters, and I just know its the Movie Edit Pro 2016 version. And no I don't know how to use the volume curve.
