burn to dvd disrupts timing between audio and video

I saw a thread that ended without further comments on a fix from December 2010. I have MEP17, just built a video shot with Canon 5D MII and Canon 60 D doing NTSC US DVD. Audio and video become untimed in the burns process. I saw folks referring to using MEP 16 to fix the problem, and reference to a patch. Is there a solution or am I stuck with an application with unresolved tech issues and no support as the previous thread eluded.

Many thanks

Go to help->Online Update and install thew latest patch.

You should be running version 10.0.11.0.

The sound sync problems are fixed now.

I would try to convert your Video to DV-AVI. DV-AVI uses minimal compression.

I used to use a really good free converter by Koyote Sofware.

What is nice about this converter is that it does batch processing.
