Hi

You have not responded to the request for information requested by a fellow Moderator in your previous topic - help us to help you by providing that information about your computer system and program version as detailed in this topic.

Additionally how, ie what steps are you taking, to burn the project to disc.

I will close your previous topic and hide a duplicate post you have made in another users topic which is over 6 years old, to prevent splitting responses.

Also there is no need to 'Quote' your comment, as you can see I have removed the formatting to make the post more legible.

Hi

. . . . how do I have a previous topic if I just bought Magix last month . . . .

Your previous topic was one week ago and is here.

. . . . I go to create a disc install a blank disc it does upload it but as a file. I have to open the file then it will let me see it. . . . .

To clarify - when you view the disc contents in Windows File Explorer does it have for:

DVD a VIDEO_TS folder with video files (VOBs) similar to these in the folder

Blu-Ray a folder structure similar to this, with video files in the highlighted folder

Note depending on your settings for File Explorer you may only see the file names without the file extensions that are shown above

If either are correct the disc will only play automatically in a player - it will not start automatically on your computer.

Ok it did play on the player. I use to have Pinnacle it would also play on my computer as soon as I would enter it. Is there anyway for the disc to play automatically without me having to push play. Thank you for your help.

Yes, if you have a suitable DVD Player Software installed! I use Cyberlink PowerDVD and it is set as my default player for DVDs and to Autoplay them as soon as they are inserted, see this screen shot from Windows Control Panel>Autoplay:

As far as I can see there are no "default" settings within Win 10 that allow the autoplay of DVDs or BDs, so some additional software is necessary.

Yes - if you have removed the Film Menu and Chapter menus

The movie should auto start when inserted into a disc player.

If you want the movie to loop in the player, you must set it to loop before removing the menus - double click the movie button in the main menu screen - behind open dialog in image below, and set the loop option
