I've been using it for several years Sound Forge Audio Studio 10.0.
As I recently changed my laptop, I have downloaded Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 (x64)
How can I acquire (buy) the serial number to activate Sound Forge Audio Studio 17 (x64) or eventually how can I transfer the old SFAS 10.0 to my new laptop?
Hi @Roberto-Kirst, BorisFX recently acquired Sound Forge, Acid, Vegas, ect., from Magix. You can purchase Sound Forge 2026 from BorisFX, but I am not sure about SF Audio Studio17. The final Magix version was SF Pro 18 and there was no Audio Studio 18. Contact BorisFX support.
Otherwise, activating SCS (Sony) versions of SF, Acid, Vegas has changed a few times since they're initial publication, but you can still activate it. See this thread for the current procedure.

@Roberto-Kirst If you registered Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 with Sony, you can use the same login credentials (e-mail and password) at Magix.com and download it there.
Regarding version 17, you can now only get old stock licenses from third party vendors but the software itself is no longer sold by Magix.
Boris FX sells Sound Forge 2026, which is the newest version. Currently they have a 25% discount spring sale. So, maybe the right time for you to upgrade.
