Can I use double layer dvds with Movie Edit Pro 16 HD?

When I try to burn to a double layer DVD, I get a "Current Hardware not supported" error message.  A regular DVD-R disk seems to work fine.  I have a HP Pavilion a1630n, Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 running Window XP.  The DVD burner does support double layer DVDS.  I have been able to use double layer using other software.

Hi,

Probably your HP Pavillon has a regular DVD burner, a double layer is a special DVD burner not too much sold due to the Blu-Ray. Check the specs on your DVD.

Hi,

If your DVd support double layer you can do. If Magix cannot do directly the burning, try to create the DVD image and use another software like Nero or Roxio to burn directly from thr DVD image.
