I am attempting to delete a "zoom" effect on a clip in Movie Edit Pro 11.0; however, when I right click on the clip to hit "reset video effects," it appears in light gray and cannot be selected. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry no definite answer -- ling time since I've had MEP11 installed and not seen your problem elsewhere. Are you for sure clicking on the video part of the clip, not the typically linked audio? Also IIRC some effects that are applied as part of say a collage may not have the usual delete function available.
I'd suggest simply deleting the zoomed version and re-importing the clip. MEP is non-destructive so no mater what you've done on the timeline, the source file is unchanged on your hard drive.
