Changing project type

gpge3 wrote on 12/11/2022, 4:52 PM

I initially edited a 360 video in Movie Edit Pro 15

I learned after that 360 doesn't work in Movie Edit Pro 15.

I was wondering is it possible to open this project in Movie Studio 2023 platinum and change the project type to 360 video, then maybe re-import the original video so that the end product plays out properly?

@gpge3

I don't do 360 movies but MMS 2023 has a selection of 360 Movie settings:

You can certainly change the Movie Settings (what you call the "project type") for each movie at will, even after you have clips already imported to the timeline.

I'd suggest you try opening the project in MMS 2023; as long as you don't save it, you won't alter the 2015 project. If it all works, do a Save As.
