Codemeter

Hi-

I own a copy of Magix Sequoia 12 but have misplaced the dongle. It is likely in storage.

I still have the install discs and license code, book, etc. I’m registered with Magix.

I’ve also reached out to Magix for support (they had offered this past fall, but I moved and am just now following up). Last month they were acquired by BorisFX.

I’ve called and emailed both. Magix does not respond, though their website indicates that previous version support still resides with them.

BorisFX will not sell me a dongle, only a 1600 usd upgrade. They didn’t even seem to understand what Sequoia is and what versions are available. The call was discouraging.

Certainly this is my fault, and I’m, of course, willing to pay for a new dongle and the time of whomever programs it.

My question:

Is there a way to copy my license key onto a new codemeter? I’m not looking for anything illegal, just to get the software that I own back up and running.

Thanks for your time.

@Nicolas-Deuson All Sequoia/Samplitude staff switched to Boris FX, including the complete customer support. Technically, you're still a customer of Magix and they should definitely respond to your issue. The problem is, they have a horrible new customer support AI agent and it seems human support staff doesn't respond to many users.

Make sure you register at the official Samplitude forum at https://community.samplitude.com/ and create your topic there and tag the user @proaudiosupport but I'm not sure they can do much without buying the upgrade.
